PERSONAL COUNSELING
I offer personal counseling (sometimes called therapy) for adults with a variety of life concerns. Counseling can be a short or a long process depending on your goals or needs which we will determine together as part of the assessment process. I particularly enjoy working with people who want to find a sense of balance in multiple life roles as part of their personal recovery process.
CAREER COUNSELING
Counseling can address career-related issues. If you would like, we can look at your resume together. I can facilitate mock-interviews with you and provide feedback on your responses to interview questions. We will work together to develop your interview style as you learn to project your best-self during your employment search.
CLINICAL SUPERVISION
Supervision is one of my favorite things! And, I’m not at all kidding about that. I would love to partner with you as you develop skills in clinical practice. One of my favorite things about supervision is getting to witness the development of others. I provide supervision for both mental health counselors (LCMHC/A) and addictions professionals (CADC/I, LCAS/A, CCS/CSI, and all other NCSAPPB credentials) in North Carolina. In addition to providing supervision of supervision for people pursuing the CCS, I also provide consultation for other supervisors.
"Where you look affects how you feel." Brainspotting is the process of identifying a focal point in a person's field of vision that allows them to access places in the brain where emotions and neurological experiences are stored. It involves focused mindfulness and attention in the shared energy between therapist and client. Call me to learn more about this service.
